Assembled here is perhaps the most universally flattering makeup for any complexion. The secret? Shades that possess neutral undertones and creamy textures for easy blending.

Flawless Skin!

Here's another great beauty tip courtesy of The Moptop Maven that I've recently incorporated into my daily diet, and after seeing how absolutely beautiful and flawless this Divas skin is makes me even more excited as to the great benefits that Flax Seed and Wheat Germ have to offer.

Flaxseeds contain a high amount of Omega 3 & Omega 6 Fatty Acids which are essential in maintaining healthy skin/hair as well as preventing and/or clearing up skin disorders such as Acne, Psoriasis, and Eczema.  Flax Seeds also help keep your pores open, thus preventing the build-up of sebum, that nasty little culprit behind Acne. Fatty acids also help your skin to remain soft, supple, and smooth, and it also regulates what goes in and out of your skin cells. In other words, they allow nutrients and water in, and keep toxins out.

The minerals in wheat germ are excellent as well for promoting healthy skin, nails and hair. Wheat germ, in any form, is a great source of many vitamins, including vitamin E, vitamin B, folic acid, and a number of minerals such as iron, calcium and zinc. The vitamin E in wheat germ is also a powerful antioxidant that is important for fighting cancer and heart problems.

This is only my 3rd day experimenting with this skin care regimen, but I'm definately looking foward to seeing what my skin looks like in about 2-3 weeks.  I will definitely keep you all posted.

Try This: [Low Fat Wheat Germ/Flax Seed Yogurt]

1 cup of low-fat yogurt
2 tablespoons of wheat germ
2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
2 tablespoons granola
1 tablespoon fruit/dried fruit (optional)

If you aren't too keen on eating the Flax Seeds, try this: [Flax Seed Gel Facial]

Grind 1/4 tablespoon of Flax Seeds, and mix with rose water [enough water to make a thick paste], let the mixture sit until the mucilage releases, and you are left with something of a gel-like consistency. Apply on your face paying close attention to the problem areas [be sure to avoid your eyes], leave on for about 10-15 minutes, then rinse!

Herbal Remedies for Beautiful Skin

Skin care is a part of our everyday life and facial masks can help us with that. Let's face it, our skin shows signs of aging first. Aging is individual for everyone and depends on many factors such as genetics, lifestyle, general health and work conditions, and climate. All of those factors take their toll on our skin.

Home-made masks for the face are good because it takes just minutes to prepare them, they are cheap and they give wonderful results. Facial masks should be used regularly, at least once a week, for the best results.

Some people choose just few skin care products and stick to them, some people like trying new and different ones. It does not matter as long as it makes you happy.  However, remember that some ingredients may cause allergic reactions. Always do a skin test before using any new beauty product.

Beauty Tip #1

Here's a great beauty tip courtesy of  Mop Top Maven that I've been using and I can honestly say that I can see a difference in my skin, especially with my pores and I can tell my skin is a little brighter.  Mix a tablespoon of honey with 2 teaspoon of lemon juice.  Apply a thin layer on skin, leave on for 30 minutes, then rinse with cool water.   This will help with facial discoloration and it's a quick way to tighten pores and fade blemishes!  Honey and lemon juice also fades age spots and brightens skin tone.

Beauty Tip #2

My second beauty tip is using honey mixed with a mashed avocado to retain moisture in my skin and create a nourishing and moisturizing mask.  I found that my skin became a little dry after using the lemon and honey mask and this helps the skin hold moisture and keeps my face soft and supple.  Avacados are rich with natural oils and are great for the skin.

Honey which is the key ingredient in both of these great beauty tips is a very versatile natural beauty product that is full of nutrients, antioxidants and other anti-aging, skin clarifying and moisturizing ingredients that makes it a must-have.  2 great beauty tips worth trying out!!

Color That Pops!

Summer is here and it’s time to show off your polished toes! We all know that nail polish trends come and go, but what are the hot colors for summer? I'm seeing a lot of blues and greens, along with corals and peaches. Among the mix are various shades of brown, from chocolate to cinnamon. I’m lucky that I live in Southern California and polished toes are a must for most of the year but for June, July and August my toes are polished in bright vibrant shades!

How many of you would love a quality nail polish, that has long wear-ability, great color, great application and consistence, at a much better price than the competition? Well look no further ladies COLOR CLUB is here.  Color Club polish can be purchased at most Sally Beauty Supply stores and at your local beauty supply ranging in price from $2.99 to $3.99 a bottle.  I've noticed that my local beauty supply has Color Club and OPI right next to each other and it seems as though Color Club has just about every color that OPI offers, which is what intially sparked my interest to see if this polish was really true to it's color.  Now....don't get me wrong.  I heart OPI but why spend $7-8 when you can get the same color effect at a lower price that lasts just as long.  Trust me...this product is worth trying and believe me, you won't be dissappointed.Color Club is definitely giving OPI a run for their money.

(I purchased the colors above)

Pink Lust
Pucci-Licious (purple)
Twiggie
Blue Light

I am Beautiful no matter what they say...

First there was Dove's real women' campaign (pictured aboved) LOVED IT!   Then there was Beth Ditto (pictured below) who possed nude back in 2009 for NME and LOVE magazine and received much criticism for expressing herself in a way that others saw as disgusting and down right dis-respectful.  To date it seems that larger, plus-sized, full-figured, big bonned women have failed to become anything more than a novelty in the fashion world.  But could 2010 be the year that curves finally come of age?  Realistically NO!!

V magazine dedicated an entire issue to women of different shapes and sizes entitled 'The Size Issue', which hit news stands earlier this year, which featured a high-fashion photo shoot starring five beautiful curvaceous bombshells.

I ran across these FABO pics of plus size models baring it all. And it gave the meaning "BEAUTY comes in every size, shape and color" a much greater meaning to me

The images below were shot by Norwegian fashion photographer Solve Sundsbo, who shot the models wearing everything from figure-hugging Agent Provocateur bodysuits to cut-out Gucci swimsuits.  These beautful women boldly flaunted their full thighs, stomach rolls (or jelly rolls as some call it) and love handles, things that would normally make many women including myself cringe at the thought of taking pictures baring it all for the world to see.

Regardless of what size you are you should always express yourself, BE FREE and celebrate who you are today, NOT who you may be later, and  love thyself un-conditionally because WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL!
